What Do I Do When My Skip Is Full?

When your skip is ready for collection, simply use our online collection request or call us to arrange a collection on 01704 892030. Alternatively, if your skip is full and you require another empty skip, contact us to book an exchange.

What can I put in my skip?

Cardboard, Wood, Metal, Soil, Brick, Paper, Ceramics, Plastic, Green waste.

Asbestos, Astro Turf, Bed Mattress, Carpet, Carpet Tiles, Ceiling Tiles, Car Parts, Felt, Foam, Gas Bottles, Hazardous Waste, Plasterboard, Paint, Rubber/ Lino Flooring, Sofa, Tyres, Upholstery, Wet Concrete.


What will happen to my waste?

All waste is taken to our waste transfer station in Burscough, 0% of our waste will be sent to landfill.


Where can I put my skip?

  • Council property*

*Please note, by law, a permit is required by your local authorities to place a skip on public land. You can select the type of permit you will need depending on where you are putting the skip. Skip permit duration varies from council to council. You’ll see the duration in the booking process. If you require the skip for longer, the permit will have to be renewed at extra cost.


Is our driveway or entrance large enough for a skip?

The skip wagon requires at least 9-10 feet in width.


How long can we keep the skip for?

Our timeframe is within 1 week, if you require the skip longer than this duration, Please speak to our team on 01704 892030.

Any additional weeks will require a replacement permit charge on top of your original price.


Overloaded Skips:

Collection of overloaded skips will be refused, and the skip will not be collected until the height is lowered to the load level. Skips must be level-loaded at all times to ensure safety and that rubbish remains contained whilst in transit.


How much notice do you need for deliveries or exchanges?

Usually, 24 hours is required for deliveries, collections and exchanges, but if you call us early we can provide a same-day service for those in local areas. Next-day service means we can guarantee service for the morning or afternoon the following day. We’ll always do our best to work around your requirements, so contact us if you have a tight schedule to meet.


What Happens To Waste After Skip Is Collected?

When the skip is collected the waste is taken to our Licensed Transfer Station where it is then graded by our Trained Operatives. We aim to divert 100% of waste away from landfill.
